Mind your own business Pamela

Pamela Anderson’s recent much publicised letter to the Municipal Commissioner of Mumbai, urging him not to kill stray dogs, reflects her acute ignorance of the stray dogs menace in India.More people have been killed by the stray dogs in India during the last few years than all the wars with Pakistan. The Mumbai High Court,in a very significant judgement, has directed the Municipal Commissioner to kill all stray dogs creating nuisance.

Instead of contesting the case in the Supreme Court of India, the Animal Rights groups, appear to have enlisted the support of the Baywatch superstar.

Does Pamela Anderson understand the nature of the problem? Does she know that every year more than 30,000 lives are lost on account of dog bites?

Is Pamela justified in urging the Municipal Commissioner to violate the direction of the High Court? Can Pamela dare to implore a Government Official to ignore a direction of a court in USA? Is Pamela not interfering with the course of justice? Is she not liable for Contempt of Court?

Are not stray dogs put to sleep inUSA? Has Pamela ever protested against the killing of stray dogs in her country? Why this double standards? If Pamela feels so strongly about the stray dogs, she can establish a huge dog pound to accomodate all the 70,000 dogs of Mumbai.

It appears that the so called Animal Rights groups, have already sensed their defeat. They are therefore enlisting the services of movie stars to peddle their cause. Has Pamela ever donated a single dollar to the victims of dog bites? Does she have any locus standi to interfere in the municipal laws of a foreign country?

Mind your own business Pamela.

has miss anderson actually proposed a solution (akin to the pound for 70K canines),or is she merely complaining loudly? i think the resources required for any massive ‘humane’ plan for animal treatment would be better spent on the humans living alongside the animals.

mass extermination is the only option that makes sense for india.
